Down Plus Bucharest Association is a fresh and dynamic organization dedicated to the continuous development and empowerment of people with Down syndrome and other intellectual disabilities. Since its establishment, we have developed a diverse range of activities and programs designed not only to enhance skills and abilities, but also to transform public perceptions of what people with disabilities can achieve.

From the very beginning, in 2014, we have promoted children and young people with Down syndrome and other intellectual disabilities as:

• Superheroes
• Champions
• Designers
• Models
• Artists
• And just about anything else they aspire to be.

Today, the Association is proud to support more than 65 beneficiaries and is always open to welcoming new members into our family. We provide daily activities such as gymnastics, modern and traditional dance, bocce, drawing, theatre, music, occupational therapy, football, and swimming. In addition, we regularly organize cultural and sports events for our friends with disabilities from across the country.
